It started after a funeral.
I wrote a poem about it in grade school for a writing assignment, and I knew writing would be a part of my future. But life gives us many roads to chose from, and I didn’t pick the right one, not even the right direction. I was lost.
But God is faithful, even in our rebellion. As a non-believing rambler, a rebel against God, He showed me what my future service would be for Him, in the form of song writing. In those days I wrote nearly 80 songs, all of them for the world and about the world. I don’t sing those songs anymore.
Then the world turned its back on me, burying me in the pit, crushed by the weight of sin and failure. I called out to God. I gave Him my life. Now I write for Him.
There are over 100 songs I sing for our Lord, dozens of blog posts searching His awesomeness and teaching His word. A book called Guided by Wisdom, showing adolescents and parents how the Bible is relevant and a critical tool when making real-world decisions. Short stories are sent out with our newsletter, and soon, my first novel, a family saga trilogy, will be released.
